Hi there!
Welcome back to my blog again. This week I'm back with another great task which I'm sure you will enjoy and have fun listening!

This week our task was to create a podcast choosing one of these 3 options:

Option 1: A chant/a song about  a character from a story/fable/fairytale
Option 2: 60 Second Idea to Improve the World
Option 3: A sound rich story

Me and my partner Tutku Besbilek aka For We Learn, we decided on option number 3 and created a sound rich story for you!
We used Podomatic to create our podcast and before diving into our own podcast, I'd like to inform you about this amazing tool for a bit.

The Experience

The process was both very interesting and challenging as well. I was so happy to finally have such an assignment. It was a task where we had to show our creative side in various ways; coming up with ideas, writing process, adding sound effects to make it sound rich, in general recording it.. It was a lot of work to cope with, but also fun and entertaining.
Tutku and I took part in every step of it equally; we came up with the idea, wrote it, found essential sound effects and recorded it.
For me, podcasting is an enjoyable way of learning. It not only pushes you in a creative direction, but also makes you use many skills such as creative thinking, writing, speaking so on and so forth..
I will definitely try to incorporate podcasting into my courses and make my students use podcasting as a way of learning and developing their language skills. I am positive that they will enjoy it as much as I do!
Now let's get into our creation, shall we?
